Isn't She...
So stinkin cute, and so big, where is my baby? On the 27th she will be 18 months old, wow the time really did just fly I know I always say that but it does seem to fly so fast. Sorry for my very biased post I know she is mine so of course I think she is cute but she really is just adorable (I guess I think this about all my kids, but I am glad they have someone who feels that way about them). I will post more about this sweet little thing when I get her pictures taken but for now I had to record the pictures of her first official piggies, yes if you can't tell those are two little piggies in her hair, this is always a sweet and sad day at our house when these little girls can "fit" into piggies. Love this girl, she's a keeper!

Amazing Book!
I have been reading this book and it is so good. It is by Jonny Bowden, he picks 150 foods he, along with opinions of others in his industry of health and nutrition, feel are the 150 healthiest foods and why. I think you'd be suprised at some of his answers. It is so cool to go through and read all of the benefits of each food. Most of the foods he chooses are raw and whole it is amazing the benefits we can get by eating plants "natural". He also has a cook book, one on the 150 healthiest things to eat during pregnancy, one on natural remedies and one on aging. He is a great author, let me know if you read any of his books.
Sometimes...
I wish that I could just write anything I wanted. So many thoughts go through my head each day as I think about and ponder different things, sometimes I just wish I could write or say anything I felt. I am sure we all feel like that sometimes. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all read something and not pass judgement because we really don't understand... I want to be better at this. I have learned we have no idea what each person we see is going through. Each has their own story to tell and we can not begin to even understand why their hair is done that way or why their clothes look the way they do, why they drive the vehicle they do and why they bring crazy children to the store with them, the list could go on. Honestly who are we to judge we can not even begin to understand their story so the next time we begin to pass judgement on someone think about the possible story behind the person, I think it just might change your perspective.

If you stop by leave a comment. I know I have been bad at updating my blog but I am trying to get back on the bandwagon and would love to see who stops by to visit us.
Crazy Normal
I just can't wait... for crazy normal. I have to admit my life is always crazy but right now it is insane crazy, survival mode is maybe a better word for it. It makes tasks like dishes, laundry, cleaning, etc. seem so easy (not that they are) but they cause so much less stress than worring about really sick kids and what to do next and how to take care of my family while I deal with the pressure of how to best help them. I am just excited for doing the normal Mom stuff:) I guess my perspective has changed a bit makes me grateful for all the little things and days that I can just PLAY with my family.

Summer
Ok so I totally did this post wrong (you can tell I've been away from the blogging world for way to long) the above post is the first part of the summer and this post is the last part of the summer until now.

Me and my girls, all of us hanging out in the hospital It was a wonderful day seeing my family.

In the hospital with Kayelee just a little over a week ago
The first day of school

We took a quick trip to Utah since most of our summer plans got changed because of Kayelee being in the hospital so here are a bunch of pictures from that trip.

The little brother Kyle doesn't have... Max and Kyle playing DS together

The Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving point

I bought the material to make these skirts right before Kayelee went into the hospital the first time in April and I finally got them made this summer I was worried at first but in the end I think they turned out alright.
No she didn't do swimming lessons but she did end up in the pool once

Kyle
We were supposed to go on a cruise this summer with all of Joe's brothers but Kayelee ended up in the hospital so we couldn't go so all his brothers came up a few weeks later and went camping with us, it was so nice of them and we had a blast!

Kambree- This girl is amazing, she has taken level 1 for three years and finally passed she can jump off the diving board and swim all the way to the edge by herself. I was so excited for her. One of her favorite things to do is swim.
Kayelee- she got to swim this year YEA! she passed level one too.

cowboy love
There is a snake on the end of that stick and if your lucky you can go swimming in that green pond right behind ya.
An act of Love... My Friend from highs school Amy sent these to my kids after she had heard about Kayelee being in the hospital. My kids love them! Thanks Amy that was such a sweet fun treat in the middle of our craziness.
This was just a day in the back yard swimming look at their faces and just the captured moment of play... I wish that childhood enjoyment could last forever.
