Hospital Visit

We had an un-expected visit to the ER this week. Kambree got sick and she sometimes has seizures accompanied with a sickness they don't happen very often about 2 times a year but they are horrible when they do. This time she had one and because she has had them before and she doesn't come out of them on her own we have a medicine called Diastat to give her to take her out of the seizure. It has always worked. She went into the seizure and we gave her the medicine as usual and she relaxed for just a short time and then continued to have a seizure it was so scary she has never done that before. So I called my brother who lives by us in Nampa he is a internal medicine-peadiatrics doctor (it has been so nice having him close) I called him and asked him what to do, he said if she is still seizing then we need to get her to the ER so they can stop the seizure because when you are in a seizure for that long there is limited amout of oxygen that is getting to the brain and it can cause some further damage so of course at this point I am so scared, we jumped in the car Joe drove and I held her and we said a prayer that all would be alright. We got there and she was still seizing it was very scary, they very quickly got us back and they had an IV in her in no time and gave her some medicine through the IV which made her finally come out of the Seizure. She was in it for over a half hour it was very scary. We stayed at the hospital for a couple of hours as they did some tests and then let us take her home telling us to bring her back if it happened again. She slept from that point on till about 7:45 the next morning with us giving her IB-profren Tylonel around the clock. The medicine for the seizure is a relaxant and so it makes her so sleepy along with the postdictical phase of the seizure so we always hope she will come out of everything alright. When she woke up the next day she was still sick but all her wits were about her and she was doing well. It is always such a happy day when she is ok after an ordeal like that.

Oh I just love my kids and when they go through things like that I realize I would do anything for them, I would do anything to take their pain away the difficult thing is all I can do is watch. It is amazing how you can love those little people so so much, even more than you can express. Trials with children are the hardest, I will admit though being a part of Kambree's trials has taught me so many wonderful things about life and what truly is most important.

It was so sad to see her in that state but we know all things are in the hands of the Lord and we know he is in charge. We were so glad to see her back to her normal self and she even got a brand new blanket out of it. When we got home the kids all wanted a new blanket of their own, if they only knew what price they would have to pay. I will admit that girl goes through some very hard things she is so tuff and NEVER complains, she is such a great example to me.

One of the first things Kambree asked the next day is if Daddy had given her a special blessing, she knows when she has a seizure that he usually does that but this time everything was so fast we just said a special prayer on the way to the hospital she was ok with that. But it was so neat to me that, that meant so much to her, she has such amazing faith.

I just love this girl so so much!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went up to Washington to visit my family, we stayed for over a week and we had a wonderful time!! I will miss my parents so bad when they are gone. I am greatful every moment I get to spend with them. By the way, I don't think I ever went back and posted about what my parents calling is. They have been called to be the directors of the Mormon handcart historical sites so it is a 2 year mission they are called to and they will be the directors of the Willie and Martin Handcart sites in Wyoming, they will be over 60-70 missionary couples and see thousands of trekers through the wonderful experience of going on the trek there on those sacred lands. My parents are such amazing people they just continue to wear themselves out in the service of the Lord.

Sorry for the tanget I had just forgotten to re-post about their calling. So for Thanksgiving my sister and her family came and we had a wonderful time we have so so much to be thankful for. We also had some time with just my parents, my mom and I went to Twilight and lunch together, We celebrated Kayelee's birthday, shopped, my sister taught me how to make hairbows, we read lots of twilight, Joe and I went to the temple together, we rode 4-wheelers, rode horses, and had breakfast at by brothers house, played with all the fun stuff at Grandma's house, we just had a wonderful time!!!

I am so Thankful for my 3 almost 4 beautiful girls and my 2 amazing boys the gospel, all of our family, the gospel, our wonderful friends, and so many material things that make our life more comfortable. Wow we are so blessed!!

Happy Late Thanksgiving!

Well..... We have some news!!!

Can you guess what it is?? Those are the legs and the little bum.

So cute!!

I love this one, you have to look closely that is one little foot (the bottom of the foot like a foot print)

What do you think???????

First things first this baby is healthy and strong Oh YEAH!!! Everything looked great the heart the brain everything. We have heard of so many things that can go wrong from others and even our own experience we were just so greatful that everything from what they could tell was heathy and developing right on track.

Ok so we had the ultrasound and ...... the moment you have all been waiting for...... Well Joe and I actually decided to not tell anyone we are just going to keep it between us until she comes.... If you didn't catch that you better read it again.

It's a GIRL!!!!

Ok so if you stop reading here that is a ok with me It is long but if you will read the last little paragraph we really need some help in the name department!!

I can say it was a harder day for Kyle I took him and Kambree to the ultra sound and on our drive there we talked about how it would be ok if it was a boy or a girl and Kyle was alright with that he said he wouldn't be sad and I told him no tears and he wouldn't cry. I thought ok this will be easy he is going to be ok either way.... oh boy not so. The ultra sound Tech. wasn't sure at first she said she thought it was a girl but but her little legs were crossed so Kyle kept asking Joe if it was a boy or a girl. After she checked again she said she was 98% sure it was a girl so we left and Kyle was pretty devistated, he was so hoping so bad for a brother. I told him not to worry (atleast yet anyway) that we are going to have more kids and that he will probably get a brother he informed me that, it takes too long. He also told me later in the day that he was going to leave home and go away I asked him where he was going to go and he said Mexico to learn spanish. We weren't even talking about the baby or anything I think he just decided there are way too many girls in this house that he is gonna get out before it is too late. By the end of the day he was ok with it all and hopefully by the time she gets here he will be so excited for her to come. He prayed for her in his prayer this morning and told all of his school class that he is getting a baby sister so I know he is a little excited. He has been the sweetest to Kapri since the day she was born even though he wanted a boy with her too. All I can say is that whatever girl gets him as a husband will be one lucky girl he is going to be an amazing husband!!!

I do have to admit I was suprised at how badly I wanted a boy for Kyle's sake I even shed a few tears for him. But to tell you the honest truth I have just loved having all these girls it has been so much fun and I am also excited for the future of 4 sisters in a row, but my heart did hurt for Kyle yesterday just knowing he wanted a brother so badly, I grew up with 5 brothers and my only sister is 7 years older than me so I know how it is being the only one I wanted a sister close to me but I will admit though I loved my brothers and am very close them. He is already that way with his sisters so I am sure it will only get better.

As for the girls they are excited I think Kayelee kind of wanted a boy for Kyle but she is excited now for a girl and so is Kam's.

Joe and I are so excited. We are so excited to welcome our little girl into our home. I told Joe I knew we had atleast one more little girl up there and so I am not suprised she wanted to come with all the sisters:) I can tell you Joe didn't shed a tear he loves all his little girls so much and he is excited for this new little one. He did tell me that they will not be cheap though paying for all those weddings:)

Elder Wirthlin passed away a couple of days ago, I just love him, Joe was reading something about him and it said that he had 8 children 7 girls and 1 boy the boy came second and then all the rest were girls, when the final girl came and they told their son he said "not another one" I got a kick out of that and I think Kyle could relate with him.

we are so excited!!!

Joe suprised me with some beautiful pink roses yesterday and told me I had to eat on the special plate because I was carring our little girl. It was very sweet!

Sorry for the randomness and rambeling and that it took me so long to post this that is so annoying I know!!!

Ok last thing Joe said to me what are we going to name this girl. Ok so we are really stumped here after 3 girls we have used a lot of the names we like, we had a hard time naming Kapri as a matter of fact. We have a few ideas but any of yours would be greatly appreciated. It does not have to be a K name so we would love any suggestions!!!

anticipation...

Tomorrow we have our ultra-sound. I am so excited to find out what we are having... I can't wait, but I am also excited to make sure everything is a ok with the little one, it is always nice to make sure everything is going well. I can't wait to shop too I love being able to hit sales and get everything ready before the little one comes.

Tonight when I was talking to the kids before they went to bed I asked Kayelee what she wanted and she said a boy so we can have a lot of boys in our family. Kambree said she thinks its a girl and I asked Kyle what he thought it was a oh of course he thinks (wants so badly) for it to be a boy I said but if it's a girl it will be ok, he looked at me and gave me the thumbs down I don't think at first he will be ok with it but we will do some convincing and as soon as he sees her if it is a her he will love her to pieces just like he has Kapri.

Joe I think would perfer a boy to even things out a bit, and to have another boy to do things with, but I think really he will be a ok either way he loves his ladies.

As for me, I am so ok with either one. For Kyle's sake it would be nice to have a boy and it would be nice to throw another boy in the mix of all my girls but I will say I have loved having my three girls in a row, they are so much fun and think of all the awesome girls time we will have:) I am just excited to add another little one to our family so either way I am just excited to know.

I guess we will find out tomorrow, I will keep you posted.
