I just had the sweetest thing happen. I was in our office just enjoying looking at other people's blogs and Kyle who was supposed to be in bed came in and said "mom when I went in to give Kambree a kiss on her head she felt a little warm" Kambree occasionally has seziures accompanied with high fevers, she had a fever today and he knows I check on her more often when I am worried about her. What a sweet brother checking on her for me and giving her a kiss as she sleeps. He is so grown up for 5. Then he told me he gave Kayelee a kiss as well and when he did her eyes popped open and she smiled, she wasn't asleep ha ha, so he talked me into letting her go in his room to play quietly (yeah right) actually they are doing pretty good in there. They really should be in bed but Joe is out of town and I am feeling like a softy!! So they are playing, don't tell Joe:)
Another very sweet thing that happened tonight. I was in not such a nice mommy mood and I wasn't being as kind to my kids as I should have. I said something like I'm not being a nice mom right now and Kyle said something like you are the best mom ever. Oh boy I got a long way to go but I couldn't believe he was saying that after I hadn't been so nice. Nothing like making you want to be better at that instant. Kids really are so forgiving and do always give you the benifit of the doubt.

What sweet kids you have! You also have the greatest stories, keep em' coming.
wow, that brought tears to my eyes! What a sweet boy, and what a rewarding experience for you as a mom! I also appreciated your story about Kambree. Keep them coming.
I just love reading your stories... they make me so grateful to be a mom. isn't it the best? your kids are just so sweet and i feel like I am getting to know them better; reading your sweet posts. hope you guys are loving this Christmas-time!
Kyle is such a sweet boy. My kids usually tell me they want a new mommy when I'm being mean and snarky. Or they tell me they're mad at me. Then they cry when I pretend to leave. THe other night I put them to bed and left for a pres mtg, and I guess Mia really freaked out because she thought I left because of their naughty behavior. Truth be told, I can't imagine you not being a nice, great mother. By the way, feel free to link me on your blog. Kings is down the street from the Post office on the corner of Arthur and Kimball (124 S Kimball Ave), and the Thrift store (which I haven't been in yet) is one or two blocks north west from Kings, I think. Thanks for the Pop and corn!
That is so sweet! Having children can sure make you feel less than perfect but they sure know how to make you feel special!
