My parents have some changes going on with their mission calling and I will update you shortly on the news but it is not common knowledge yet so I can't yet make it public but lets just say they met with some big wigs at the church office building. The rest is soon to come. Anyway they will be home until January so insted of only home for a month they get three. So they passed through Boise on their way home and we followed them up to Washington, the kids had 2 days off of school and Joe needed to use some of his time off from work so it was perfect. We had a Wonderful time. The only thing I am bummed about is we did not take a lot of pictures so the ones below are only a taste of the fun we had.
Here are the highlights:
We Played, Played and Played some more.
We watched two of my nephews play football.
The kids rode horses at my brothers house, the kids had a blast.
We got to visit my brother and his 8 kids who we haven't seen for a while.
Joe got to watch the BYU football game.
We watched General Conference, oh so good!!
We picked, washed and canned over 50 jars of grape juice, thanks to lots of help from my mom. Oh I love home canned grape juice.
We ate, ate, and ate some more it was so yummy to have my mom's good cooking
We got an ice cream cone, fresh chips and salsa and corn on the cob at the country mercentile, I love that place! Shanae your Dad has done such a great job there.
Joe and the kids rode 4-wheelers all over the farm.
Came home with tons of apples YUM, I do love all the fresh produce on the farm.
We had a wonderful time just visiting with my parents we have missed them oh so much as they have been on their mission.
Kayelee asked if she could stay and live with Grandma.
Rode the lawn mower with Grandma.
We all had such a wonderful time and Came home with full hearts and huge smiles from such a wonderful time but we were all so sad to leave.
Lawn Mower rides with Grandma, Kambree begged Grandma for a ride on her lawn mower so they took it for a spin.
Watching Conference, Kambree is faking it but Grandma is really sleeping:)
Our night of snuggling, we both fell asleep.
The end, Ok this was s funny story, so we a traveling home and I had just given the kids rolls to munch on I look back and see this picture I started busting up laughing so so hard and showed Joe He started laughing as well we kept looking back to see if he was just faking it but no flinch from him, I grabbed the camera and right as I got ready to take a picture his eyes popped open. He was teasing us the whole time and he got us good. I love it when my kids make me laugh out loud.
