I am glad this blog is private so I know who is looking at these pictures:) Kayelee would die if she knew you all saw, it is embarassing to her. Hopefully this gives you a better idea of what goes one with plasma pheresis as well and how it works.
We have a love/hate relationship with this little friend most of you know, especially this last bout in the hospital, this line has been a nightmare, but thank goodness for it at the same time.
Right under that dressing the tube goes straight into her skin and right down to her heart... A little scary, infections can be fatal and basically if you un-clipped the clamp and took the cap off the bottom she would bleed to death... so they are a bit scary.

I was so good seeing you the other day (even for just a moment). Your family is so precious, thanks for the updates on them all.
Kayelee is one tough cookie! I can't even imagine how hard this is for her and your family. You all are in our prayers!
Wow, I can't even imagine. I think awhile back you asked if people wanted to be updated on whats going on with her (I'm sorry if this is wrong) but I would love to hear how things are going if we could get added to the e-mail list.

I had no idea how big and risky that line was! Now I know why she wanted that thing out so bad. Who can blame her! She is a trooper!
