Trek

Joe and I are off to Wyoming with our ward to be Ma and Pa of 8 kids from our ward, at the Martin Handcart site. I am excited for the adventure there has been a lot of preparation for it, it will be nice to get there. My parents are there serving a mission at the Willie center and I am so excited to see them even though it will be for just a short time. They told us as we were preparing not to let any of our youth not go because it will be a life changing experience for them. The pioneers are amazing and I am excited to share a tiny bit in there perspective, I think it will be life changing for me. I will be sure to blog about it when I am back. Kyle was there Monday and Tuesday (he went with my sister) and he was able to stand on sacred ground (see post below on that) I am so excited to hear his woderful experiences. I'll blog about that too:)

hmmm. do you get to where deoderant on the trek? If not, it will be life changing. I only ask because I had a friend that went on a trek and they couln't bring anything with them but the pioneer clothes they were provided. So what are you doing with your kids during the trip? It sounds like a ton of fun! and I'm glad you get to see your parents, they are great! Thanks for that quote, it is really great, I'm glad Im not the only one that doesn't get a shower every day!
