So last sunday we were outside after church and Kyle and I were playing teather ball and Kayelee was swinging on the swing set and out of the blue Kayelee says to me "Mom you are the most beautifulist princess in the whole world"
I thought wow what a compliment it was so sweet coming from her and she just said it right out of the blue.
Then Kyle says "Yeah mom you are the princess Dad calls you that all the time" and then he thinks for a second and then says "but where's your crown?" I had to think a second myself and then I started to explain to him that it was invisible and then he said I know when you will get your crown when you go to Heaven, we will all get our crowns when we go there.
I just thought it was a very sweet moment. From before we were married Joe has always called me princess the kids don't say too much about it or seem to notice it but obviously they do; I love that they see that wonderful example their Dad sets for them and he really treats me like a princess as well. It was neat to see Kyle put together and understand that we can all be prince and princesses when we go to heaven; he thinks pretty deep sometimes and surprises me. I am so glad he classified himself in there and that he understands that he can be a prince too. What a feeling of self worth. I love seeing him think like that.
Those are the sweet moments I will cherish forever.

Oooh- that is soooo sweet! You've got yourself some smart kiddos! And I've heard Joe call you princess on several occassions- I think that is so cute!

It's moments like that that make all the poopy diapers and crazy days worth it. Isn't being a mom the best thing in the world?!
That is pretty sweet. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for. :)
