We did most of our festivities on Saturday which really saved Sunday for celebrating the real meaning of Easter and I liked that a lot. On Saturday they woke up to fun fun Easter baskets then we did soccer all morning and then had some good friends over to color eggs and have a hunt, the kids had a blast! We also had a BBQ the first one of the year and it was so yummy and then we played some games. Sunday Joe told the kids about Easter and it's real meaning on the way to church, you never know how much they get and then at church the program had an Easter picture and we had a picture of one of the pass along cards that has Christ coming out of the tomb and I think all three girls commented on those pictures after hearing Joe talk about it on the way to church.
Easter is a wonderful holiday because we get to celebrate life and the Saviors great great gift to us of everlasting life. I feel so blessed to have that knowledge in my life and that I can share that hope with my children... Happy Easter!
